Welcome to Slate of the Art. My name
is Carol Ryan and I am an artist who really enjoys painting and selling my artwork. I specialize in slate paintings
and although the slates you see here on my website are of the Celtic persuasion, I am able to create realistic or whimsical
handpaintings as gifts or for a particular home décor. We are able to offer you a choice in choosing a particular pattern
which holds meaning or special interest to you in your life such as welcome signs, pub signs, birds, cats, dogs, flowers,
lighthouses, cottages, etc. We love to do custom work and welcome your ideas. You can even send a favourite photo and
I will work with you in creating your customized work. My slates are great for hanging as a welcome sign at door entrances,
as a garden accessory or simply hanging on your wall. Personalizing is FREE! You can have whatever you wish written
on your piece - your name, house number, welcome, etc. and it will be done free of charge. I look forward to creating
